Aaron has been doing CrossFit at Wildland since it opened. He is the director of our Ruck Program and enjoys coaching GPP classes and anything Oly. Aaron’s love for perfection paired with his calm demeanor makes him a great coach for our athletes.

Patty McMillan

Certified Level 2 Coach, Head Coach CrossFit Littles and Kids

Patty has been a part of our Wildland community since 2015. Patty is the head coach of our Littles and CrossFit Kids program. Patty has a way with the Littles and does a great job teaching children how to move their bodies and have fun. She enjoys competing in the sport at the regional level. She is a huge part of our Wildland community and a great role model for our little CrossFitters.

Melissa Cazier

Certified Level 2 Head Coach, Director of Gymnastics, Active Life Professional

Melissa is Wildalnd’s Head Coach as well as our in-house Active Life Professional. She is a wife, mommy of three handsome boys, and a former elementary school teacher. Her passion for athletics began at the age of six when the world of gymnastics entered her life. She continued on in competitive gymnastics for ten years. During her college years, she began searching for that competitive outlet gymnastics had provided me. In 2013, a fellow coach suggested CrossFit and the rest is history.

Andrea Whiteman

Certified Level 2 Coach, Director of CrossFit Teens

Andrea is a North Idaho native. After finishing up her career with collegiate soccer and finishing her degree in elementary education at Biola university she made her way back home. Her passion for CrossFit began back in 2014 and has continued since. Two of the things she values about CrossFit the most are 1) the community aspect of working hard together as a group, and 2) the physiological benefits of consistency and effort. When Andrea isn’t at the gym she is spending time with her husband and two children. They enjoy being active at church,  camping, hiking, eating, sports, and of course CrossFit. 

Jason Paulson

Certified Level 2 Coach

Jason started CrossFit in 2012. He has been a coach for Wildland since 2017. Jason is a Firefighter/Engineer for Northern Lakes Fire Department. Jason dabbled in the triathlon world prior to CrossFit, completing the Boise Half Ironman in 2011. He’s taken part in some regional CrossFit competitions but finds joy in staying healthy and fit for work and keeping up with his two busy girls. Wildland’s members love the care and support Jason brings to his classes.

Ryan McCormick

Certified Level 2 Coach, CrossFit Weightlifting certified

Athletics have always been a huge part of my life and some of my earliest memories are of playing sports.  I started playing soccer in Phoenix when I was 7 because I was the “small kid” and my parents wouldn’t let me play contact sports such as football or hockey (yes, there was hockey in Phoenix back in the late 70’s, and it was a game I always wanted to play).  My family moved to Southern California when I was about 10 and I continued playing soccer on the local travel team.  In high school I was the starting varsity goalie for 3 years.  It was also during high school that in addition to playing soccer I became an avid surfer.  I played a little collegiate soccer and eventually ended up playing in a semi-pro league in San Diego, all the while hitting the waves as often as possible.  An ACL injury I suffered while playing soccer eventually ended my career but it did not stop my love of sport.

Amy Wearne

Owner/Director/ Certified Level 2 Coach

Amy is the Owner of Wildland CrossFit and the Founder and Head Coach of AIM Nutrition Coaching. She is a mother of two beautiful children, a wife, a former elementary school teacher, and an L2 CrossFit coach. In addition, she has extensive athletic achievements including taking 10th at the NoBull CrossFit Games (35-39), college softball and numerous accomplishments in the triathlon and ultra marathon world. Amy is a two time Ironman and has completed Rim2Rim2Rim. She has a love for health, hard work,  and human connection that she loves sharing with each athlete she coaches.

Justin Wearne

Owner/Director of Operations/Certified Level 2 Coach

Justin is the Owner and Director of Operations of Wildland CrossFit. He is a Fireman/Engineer for the City of Coeur d’ Alene, an L2 CrossFit coach, and a baseball/basketball, every ball coach for his children. He has been a sports buff since he was old enough to hold a ball. Growing up he was a baseball and basketball player. He completed an Ironman in 2010 and takes part in regional CrossFit competitions. He is an advocate for staying strong for life and believes that functional fitness is the most effective way to do this. Justin enjoys helping the people of our community become healthier, more well-rounded people.

Josiah Rye

Certified Level 2 Coach, CrossFit Weightlifting certified

Josiah has been CrossFitting since 2015 and coaching group classes since 2016. He has been coaching CrossFit teens and adult classes at Wildland since 2022. Josiah is a husband and a father of 4. He is passionate about helping others in their journey toward a healthier life and accomplishing things they never imagined they were capable of.
